Fraser Island (30 September - 6 October 2017)

Second visit to the island this year, will never get sick of this place!  ​

Where better to spend an October long weekend (week!) than Fraser Island.

We were joined by Lauren & Liam, Danny & Cat and John & Courtney and all their kids for an amazing week long adventure.  We got bogged on the first day and we struggled to find a big enough campsite for our group, but that was only the beginning.  The weather gods weren't always being kind to us, but the torrential rain, wind and storms didn't dampen our spirits.  

We had flooded tents and soaking wet clothes and bedding but we didn't let it get us down!  Even a dingo ripping into one of the tents didn't stop us - a bit of tape and we were ready for another day!  We had a lot of laughs, saw some dingos, lizards and whales, rescued a turtle from the beach and we went for a scenic joy flight over the island, something we'd wanted to do for a while.  Another memorable adventure shared with friends, life really doesn't get any better.
